Masum Rana is the founder and principal designer of Premium Design Company, a Gothenburg-based studio for AI integration, web design and development. Masum started the studio in 2025 to give startups and small businesses one team for design, build and the AI that runs behind them.
Before that, Masum spent more than a decade designing digital products: over 200 WordPress templates as an Envato author, a large SaaS application as part of the Impact design team, and B2B software, dashboards and mobile apps for freelance clients, including an app for UNICEF's Meena character.
Masum works in Figma, starts with research and wireframes before any visual design, and cares more about how a product works than how a single screen looks.
