Token Alerts is a web app for people who trade cryptocurrencies across several exchanges. It puts the four things they otherwise check in separate tabs into one place: their portfolio, live trading, upcoming coin events, and alerts when a coin they watch is listed or moves.

Masum Rana, founder of Premium Design Company, designed it from scratch: the research, wireframes, final interface and handover.

What was designed

The app has seven main screens, all inside one consistent shell: a left navigation, the account balance and a deposit button at the top, and a transfer widget docked in the sidebar.

  • Dashboard: a 30-day portfolio balance chart split by currency, a portfolio breakdown, a live alerts log, open trades with one-click close, and full transaction history.
  • Trading: market performance, the trader’s open orders across exchanges, a buy/sell panel, advanced stop-loss options and an order book.
  • Calendar: upcoming and past coin events as cards. Each card shows its proof and source, and the community votes whether the event is real or fake.
  • News: a filterable feed of news, blog posts, discussions and videos.
  • ICOs: token sales grouped as hot, active, upcoming, ended or flagged as scams, each with a “add to waitlist” action.
  • Waitlist: per-coin rules for what happens next: notify only, trade with confirmation, or trade automatically, plus stop-loss and which exchanges to watch.
  • Public alerts page: a lighter view for visitors who have not signed up, showing recent alerts and coin prices.

Design decisions

One shell, many screens. Every screen reuses the same card, table and filter components, so a trader who learns the dashboard can read every other page without thinking.

Status is colour and text together. Alert states, trade results and coin changes use green and red, but always next to a word or a sign, so they still read correctly for colour-blind users.

Trust signals on events. Coin event announcements are easy to fake. Showing the proof, the source and a community real-or-fake vote on each event lets traders judge one before acting on it.

Interactions documented, not implied. The design includes every dropdown state for the waitlist rules, so the behaviour is specified rather than left for developers to guess from a static screen.
