Dashboard

Supplyr: an admin dashboard for a supplier and manufacturer directory

The admin side of a B2B directory that connects suppliers and manufacturers: user verification, company listings and customer feedback.

Supplyr is a directory where suppliers and manufacturers find each other. This project is the admin dashboard behind it: the place where the Supplyr team checks who signed up, verifies businesses, creates listings and reads customer feedback.

It was designed by Masum Rana, founder of Premium Design Company, covering research, wireframes and the final interface.

What was designed

  • Dashboard: counts of business users, new users, reviews and balance at the top, then recent sign-ups with their role and verification status, new users, and the latest feedback.
  • Business users: a searchable table of every business, its role (supplier or manufacturer), country and whether it is verified.
  • User profile: the business’s verification checklist (phone, documents, security questions), its company listings, buttons to verify, unverify or delete, and internal notes for staff.
  • Create listing: company details, tags and category, plus four qualifying questions: average transaction size, expected growth, international shipping, and money-back guarantee.
  • Create user and edit profile: account forms with the password rules shown up front.

Design decisions

Verification is the main job, so it leads. In a B2B directory, trust is the product. Verified and unverified status appears in every user table, and the profile puts the verification checklist next to the actions that change it.

Qualifying questions on every listing. Asking for transaction size, growth, shipping and guarantees when a listing is created gives buyers the facts they filter on, and saves both sides a round of emails.

Rules before errors. The password requirements are listed under the field before the user types, instead of appearing as an error after they submit.

A calm, light interface. Admins spend hours in this tool, so it uses a white layout, one accent colour and plenty of space, keeping colour for status.
